| | Customer Reviews: Deeply disappointed. (25 August 2010)I was deeply disappointed with this game. First of all I was hoping there would be a version where you did not have to go online to play. Sort of a one player home version. Alas it only has an online version. I would have been happier with a Sim. Secondly I could not load the whole thing into my computer, so I could not even play the online version. I just wasted my money for a game I could not play, either alone on my computer or online with others. Bend over and take it from Blizzard (10 August 2010)So I tried to get into this game recently and here was my experience, Start up with vanilla(no expansions) for 2 1/2 months, besides the occasional day where the servers are down, which did happen more that I would expect for $15 a month, the game was fun. Then my account was hacked and I lost my two characters. I called blizzard and despite trying for 4 hours I could get a hold of anyone. The message kept saying that they were too busy try again later. So I emailed them and was basically told it was my fault for not buy a wow authenticator. So to sum up to start playing and go a year it would cost $280(not counting the upcoming cataclysm expansion) for a video game. If your willing to fork over that kind of money you expect a certain level of customer service for the company and I got none. I will never buy from blizzard again. This was easily my worst gaming experience of my life. Excellent game (08 August 2010)This is a very good game, If you are looking for a good game to spend a lot of hours with out bored this is your game. World of Warcraft Battle Chest (07 August 2010)This game was bought for my son, all my grown children are Warcraft addicts. My son is very pleased with the game. I've seen my son play the game and it's a massive world, I can see how they spend more time then they should playing this game. World of Warcraft Battle Chest. Worth the money (24 July 2010)World of Warcraft can be really addictive and fun depending on the person. Try the trial. If you feel like you can play that for a thousand hours, then I guess you should buy into the world of warcraft. I think this is a great starter pack if you decide to play because it comes with a month free and a couple of game guides to help you understand how everything works. If you like it you can always buy a game card and wrath of the lich king later (the other expansion)and continue to build on your success. |
