It is fun and walks the kids through their letter sounds and reading. I love how it begins easily and steadily increases in difficulty. My daughter has been using it since she was 4 and it has really helped her start reading when she started Kindergarten. She is now reading like a pro and I attribute some of that to this cd rom. Of course, reading to her every night and being enthusiastic about reading doesn't hurt either. Daughter loves it (01 February 2010)I love learning tools and my daughter would play with this all day if I allowed her too but because of her age she's only allowed small increments at a time. Great for kids. mom can i play my reader rabbit? ....Um yeah sure... (12 October 2009)This is a great educational game shh don't tell the kids its educational. My son begs to play it everyday. I give him half hour at a time and when time is up it is hard to pry him off!!!! What he doesn't realize is he is learning letter sounds, sight words, and reading. Don't tell him!!!! Best of all there is no fight to get him to study because to him its a fum game! LOVE IT (19 May 2009)GREAT. I have never been disappointed with anything Reader Rabbit. My four year old gets lots from it. letdown (14 January 2009)After being completely satisfied with the Toddler version of Reader Rabbit, I found this to be a disappointment. The introduction intimidated the girl I bought it for and the lessons don't draw a young child in like the Toddler version did. It has some learning value, but I'm sure there are better products out there. |
