| ![]() | Customer Reviews:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Animal crossing (07 March 2010)My 10 year old ordered this game with his birthday money. He loves it, as do his older brother (16yrs), and cousin (19yrs.). We received the game more quickly than anticipated. And they've all been playing it since. My son loves to read things when his character is talking to someone, or when he reads notes left for him by his brother and cousin. They all like the little adventures their characters take, and the missions they do. It is only a one player game, But, they take turns. There is enough space available to make a few different memory spaces for each character. It's fun and not offensive. Children under 10 can play it, if they can read fairly well. All around it is a good game for many people, young and old ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() great game (05 March 2010)If you are in to games like Harvest Moon, or any RPG game for that matter, you would definately enjoy this game! I am a 19 year old girl and I love games like Harvest Moon, Fable, etc, and this game definately didn't dissappoint me! It is really fun, you work in the town, interact with the animals in the town (you are the only person) and you do favors, catch fish, make money, and build on your house! I think it's alot of fun and I am definately hooked on it! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Animal crossing (27 July 2009)The concept should be familiar: You move to a town populated by animals. You need to pay off your house loan to merchant Tom Nook in order to get a bigger house (which you will need quickly). Dig for fossils and money, collect fish and bugs. Join as your town celebrates different holidays and seasons. Collect playable NES-games and befriend animals. Today the controls will seem old fashioned, for instance you can only sell one item at a time to Nook, and there is less space in your closet. But the game play is the same as in the DS and WII versions. My only complaint is that the Gamecube town (like the WII town) is a little hard to navigate through, especially when you are trying to shake all the trees. That's a very small issue, though. Animal Crossing is a great game. Recommended. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Awesome (25 June 2009)This Game was awesome! It is my Favorite game ever! But, That is my style. This game is unlike any other game I have ever seen before. See, in this game there is no game over. It is rather a peaceful game were you get up. Do a little fishing. talk to your neighbors maybe help them out a little. participate in events decorate your house and so much much more. In fact the things to do seem never ending! Wile this might seem boring It is not. The whole game is run on a clock meaning that if you set the date right the seasons will fallow are seasons and some of the holidays. But I would suggest the newer versions. P.S.It is more fun once you get into it. Don't give up after the first two weeks. Maybe a month would do it. But I had fun the entire time ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Better then both the sequels. (31 May 2009)This game is probably one of the best game I've ever played. And here's why... Whenever I play this, I get really nostalgic. I remembered I used to play it until midnight when I was younger. But that's not the main reason... There's always something to do in this game. And when I say always, I mean it. In fact, I sometimes find myself as having a bit too much to do. What you do in Animal Crossing is not like many other games; no, there is no fighting, no missions, no gore, no violence whatsoever, nothing... stressful. In this game, it's just utter relaxation and calmness the whole time you play. There are alot of things to do, such as fishing, digging for fossils, catching bugs, cutting down trees (just make sure you plant another one after you cut it down~) donating to the museum, talking to your neighbors, decorating your house, doing favors for villagers, participating in events or holidays (Like Halloween, Christmas, Valentines Day, etc.) making your town perfect, making a catchy town tune and so on. One of my favorite things about this game is the background music. It just makes you happy, doesn't it? So basically, here's what I think of this game. Sound: 10/10 Graphics: 9/10 Gameplay: 10/10 Overall: 10/10 I suggest you buy this game. Trust me, you'll love it. The only reason some of the other people like it is because they either don't know what to do or don't like the fact that there's no violence. |
